Happy Holidays!

I wish all of you a safe and relaxing holiday with your friends and family. Thank you for the lovely cards, gifts, and well wishes; I appreciate your kindness and generosity so very much! We had a small class celebration on Friday with lots of wonderful 'goodies' to eat thanks to the parents who sent in food.  Our class also joined Mrs. Galpin's grade ones for a singalong with Mr. Galpin on the accordion in the afternoon!  Below are a few photos of Friday's fun!

Our Primary Christmas Concert!

The children did a wonderful job performing their song and dance to 'A Marshmallow World' at our concert on Wednesday!

North Van. Museum and Archives, Dec. 2nd Field Trip!

The children had a wonderful time at the North Vancouver Museum and Archives last Thursday! Thank you to all of our amazing parent driver/supervisors for helping us out! We couldn't have done it without you!  The students learned about the lives of the early settlers and their winter activities and experiences. Some of the highlights for the children included  seeing an actual one-horse sleigh (minus the horse!), playing with old-fashioned wooden toys, and experiencing an early day kitchen complete with wood burning stove.   Each child also had a chance to use an old-fashioned apple peeler/corer!
