Buddies on Friday!

The grade ones had fun playing Halloween bingo with their grade three buddies on Friday!

Spooky Bats and Silly Skeletons for Hallowe'en!

The grade ones were busy this past week making skeleton pictures using glue and q-tips and creating spooky bat pictures!

Grade One Self-Portraits!

The children had a wonderful time creating their own self-portraits over the last two days. The most challenging part was the beginning when they had to draw their own face and neck and facial features onto construction paper. It was hard for them to resist adding hair and leaving their heads bald!  After the head was cut out they created the final project with wrapping paper for their clothes and ripped pieces of construction paper for their hair. When they glued it altogether it was magic!
